So Im reading Tramp: the life of Charlie Chaplin by Joyce Milton and I realize - hey! Chaplin was pretty crazy! he was manic depressive, took about ten showers a day, lied, threatened his wives, talked non stop for twenty eight hours and was an amazing director/producer/editor/actor/composer/screenwriter.

I watched City Lights again though and everything became okay...

Have you ever spent an entire french class discussing Lost's new character Desmond with someone (that's seventy five minutes)? I have.

Our mission today: tell a complete stranger on the street that they look lovely today...seriously lets do that

Tuesday, October 04, 2005

New job has been gotten by me. Hooray and rejoice. It's at Wendy's. Crappit and poo. Can't eat any of the food there though, so at least I wont get fat.

Grade eleven is....the same as grade ten only a year after. Not alot is new with me except that I'm hungry at the moment.

Went to the Toronto International Film Festival this summer and got to see Corpse Bride (on Sept. 9 - take that biotches!) and a bunch o famous people who...were...there.

Tumbleweed Town remains boring - and so does this blog.

Bye now

Wednesday, July 13, 2005

Blegh

I have a job, it involves filing - nuff said.

Finished off second book in Douglas Adams's THHG2TG series (the Restaurant at the End of the Galaxy) I so far have participated in one movie marathon and have yet to watch A Clockwork Orange. In keeping with the Stanley Kubrick theme I rented 2001: A Space Odyssey - hmmm...right, well I don't think im supposed to get it so there we go.

Getting Harry Potter 6 on the weeked, cuz you know, nobody else is so I thought I would to be different. Actually it turns out it has had the most printing ever in Canada, and its not even in stores yet so JK Rowlings doing something right.

Being a cracker is difficult in Tumbleweed Town, too many people here have adopted a small-town mentality. The people who haven't have left.

Off to read No Logo - Naomi Klein, s'good book - go read it

Friday, June 24, 2005

I haven't updated in a while, so I decided to...

School is now over!!!for the summer. But thats okay because now I have two months ahead of me where I can be lazy, finally get around to writing those stories, update fanfic and try to make better ones, have movie marathons (watch a Clockwork Orange finally) and learn not to suck at guitar!! Though I know that into the second week I'll go into that depression the summer always brings me and only accomplished like half of two of those things.

I miss my Charlie fix, I just sit here and stare at my Charlie shoes (where I store my heroin dontcha know) and remember the good old days - Wednesdays to be more precise...

Monday, May 09, 2005

Happy mothers day to all! I sold flowers yesterday and earned a sun burn and seven dollars in tips. Party! I got my mom a cutesy little card and a half-dozen roses on babys breath (creepy name).

Stayed home from school today to do homework, I just had too much and couldn't deal with doing it all last night because of how tired I was from the weekend.

I think after I'm done my homework I am going to add another chapter to the fanfic. I really haven't updated in a while and should get back in the hang of things, maybe I can even make this chapter funny. Maybe that's aiming too high, maybe I can just make it midly amusing. And hey, if anyone wants to read my LOTR parody, go to www.fanfiction.net/~cas85 and click on the only story thats under my profile. But be warned, it kinda sucks. Nothing like a little story pimping to make you want to do your homework. Pimp pimp pimp

Sincerely,
the girl with the flowers

Thursday, May 05, 2005

The new LOST that was on last night - not that good, I don't know, I don't think it ran right. History ISP due tomorrow and guess who hasn't started? Yeah that would be me...what a genius. Oh well I can just throw something together about the Rise of Adolf.....right?

'when you're a clown, nobody takes you seriously'

Who's crazy?! I am...

You see it all starts back when I came back from Quebec and a friend of mine lent me Alias Season one. I had never seen the show before but I figured 'hey its JJ it has to be good'. So I watched the dvds and found myself addicted. I have now polished off season two as well. The problem? My friend does not own season three, and it just so happens that my favourite character (Will) isn't even on the show anymore. So now I will mope in my craziness...

My mom is obsessed with this new eating for your blood type thing. grrr. its weird. She's been buying all of this organic rye bread and seeds and nuts and stuff. I have no problem with organic bread or seeds and nuts, but rye bread tastes like when you throw up in your mouth and swallow it - not very appealing now is it?

Saw hitch hikers guide to the galaxy on friday!!! Martin Freeman rocks my mismatched socks!!!

(Not So) Obvious Thought Of the Day: Maybe I should rent season three at blockbuster...

Thursday, April 28, 2005

Obvious thought of the day: Bush is a TOOL.

So I watched LOST: the Journey last night; what a waste of an hour. It was kind of like those cheesy flashback shows that sitcoms go into in their fourth season, except it was smack dab in the middle of the first season. It's like 'Remember when Boone died?' 'ur yeah that was last week!'. But I suppose it would be good for people who hadn't really followed the show until recently *shrugs*

Tomorrow the Clarke Intermediate Band with be visting a neighbouring hicktown school to have a festival. This town is now named Wiggerhick town, because though it is a hick town, it has a surprising amount of wiggers there. We're not at that good at our music pieces, but I get to play the Timpani drums so it's all okay and plus its a day away from the insane-scary-science-teacher-from-parts-unknown or Mrs. ISSTFPU (is-tough-poo) is you like.

This blog entry is beginning to get ridiculous, geez its as if kangaroos and platypus' wearing umbrella hats are doing the polka in the trunk of a clown car. Honestly!

LOVE to all.

Tuesday, April 26, 2005

Back from Quebec now. It was...good. I learned a lot about myself this weekend, for instance that not only do I lack a set personality, I also lack foresight. I signed up for a trip to go with people that I'm not really friends with and don't really like that much *sighs* oh well it wasn't too bad, Quebec City was pretty cool and I have a talent of being able to amuse myself for incredibly long periods of time. Bought a purse and a cd, party for me.

I got MAD magazine the other day (see other post) and it was really not funny but the pictures of the characters were really good and well done in my opinion, but I think I'll stick to watching MAD rather than reading it, the tv show is actually funny.

Mid terms came today, marks are as follows: Music: 83% History: 88% Civics:86% and Science: 76%. Science is just not my subject, but I still think that's pretty good for never studying or never actually trying when doing homework the morning that its due.

Nice to be back! love to you from me!

Wednesday, April 20, 2005

I have 'All That Jazz' imbedded into my brain, we were playing it today in music. Take the opposite of not sucking and you have how we sounded...and the festival is next week but oh well.

I'm going to Quebec tomorrow with my last semester french class *half-hearted* woopee. More people to insult me, but in a different language, and plus I'm with some people I don't want to be with for the hotel but I'll get over that at some point. I should practise my french.

Watched 'Get Over It' - it sucked. Watched 'Trainspotting' - was very good in my opinion, except I didn't realize the rating on the back and was watching it a little too loudly while my mom was near my room - not the smarted cracker in the box.

Two new subscribers today! I'm lovin' it! (and please in no way was that last comment related to a certain ex-Nsyc - er who made a crappy McDonalds commercial)

LOST is on tonight! Rerun be damned I need my Charlie fix!

(not obsessed! not! no precious, Charlie is our friends)

au revior mes amis!
