| Funtastisimo!
So Im reading Tramp: the life of Charlie Chaplin by Joyce Milton and I realize - hey! Chaplin was pretty crazy! he was manic depressive, took about ten showers a day, lied, threatened his wives, talked non stop for twenty eight hours and was an amazing director/producer/editor/actor/composer/screenwriter.
I watched City Lights again though and everything became okay...
Have you ever spent an entire french class discussing Lost's new character Desmond with someone (that's seventy five minutes)? I have.
Our mission today: tell a complete stranger on the street that they look lovely today...seriously lets do that
| New job has been gotten by me. Hooray and rejoice. It's at Wendy's. Crappit and poo. Can't eat any of the food there though, so at least I wont get fat.
Grade eleven is....the same as grade ten only a year after. Not alot is new with me except that I'm hungry at the moment.
Went to the Toronto International Film Festival this summer and got to see Corpse Bride (on Sept. 9 - take that biotches!) and a bunch o famous people who...were...there.
Tumbleweed Town remains boring - and so does this blog.
Bye now | | |
| Blegh
I have a job, it involves filing - nuff said.
Finished off second book in Douglas Adams's THHG2TG series (the Restaurant at the End of the Galaxy) I so far have participated in one movie marathon and have yet to watch A Clockwork Orange. In keeping with the Stanley Kubrick theme I rented 2001: A Space Odyssey - hmmm...right, well I don't think im supposed to get it so there we go.
Getting Harry Potter 6 on the weeked, cuz you know, nobody else is so I thought I would to be different. Actually it turns out it has had the most printing ever in Canada, and its not even in stores yet so JK Rowlings doing something right.
Being a cracker is difficult in Tumbleweed Town, too many people here have adopted a small-town mentality. The people who haven't have left.
Off to read No Logo - Naomi Klein, s'good book - go read it
| I haven't updated in a while, so I decided to...
School is now over!!!for the summer. But thats okay because now I have two months ahead of me where I can be lazy, finally get around to writing those stories, update fanfic and try to make better ones, have movie marathons (watch a Clockwork Orange finally) and learn not to suck at guitar!! Though I know that into the second week I'll go into that depression the summer always brings me and only accomplished like half of two of those things.
I miss my Charlie fix, I just sit here and stare at my Charlie shoes (where I store my heroin dontcha know) and remember the good old days - Wednesdays to be more precise...
| Happy mothers day to all! I sold flowers yesterday and earned a sun burn and seven dollars in tips. Party! I got my mom a cutesy little card and a half-dozen roses on babys breath (creepy name).
Stayed home from school today to do homework, I just had too much and couldn't deal with doing it all last night because of how tired I was from the weekend.
I think after I'm done my homework I am going to add another chapter to the fanfic. I really haven't updated in a while and should get back in the hang of things, maybe I can even make this chapter funny. Maybe that's aiming too high, maybe I can just make it midly amusing. And hey, if anyone wants to read my LOTR parody, go to www.fanfiction.net/~cas85 and click on the only story thats under my profile. But be warned, it kinda sucks. Nothing like a little story pimping to make you want to do your homework. Pimp pimp pimp
Sincerely, the girl with the flowers
